The Duplex Alternating Softener System – VIP-1E Series is a pre-engineered, dual-tank water treatment solution designed for continuous commercial and industrial use.
Its specialized alternating configuration ensures a constant supply of soft water by keeping one tank in service while the other is on standby or undergoing regeneration, effectively eliminating hard water bypass.
Managed by the advanced VIP-1E solid-state electronic controller, the system offers demand-initiated metered regeneration, real-time flow monitoring, and a NEMA-enclosed diagnostic interface for maximum efficiency and reliability.
Built with high-strength ANSI/NSF-listed fiberglass tanks and lead-free brass multiport valves, this “packaged” system is a durable, heavy-duty wholesale option for facilities requiring high-capacity water softening.
- Duplex alternating operation; No hard water bypasss during regeneration.
- VIP-1E electronic metered or time clock feature & UL listed.
- Solid state single metered initiated regeneration including rate of flow meter, re-settable totalizing meter & self diagnostic status monitoring. NEMA enclosed controller; Delayed or immediate regeneration.
- Lead-free brass multiport control valves with self-cleaning, hydraulically balanced positive acting piston.
- Timed brine refills (eliminates constant line pressure on shut off float devices).
- Standard safety-float valve shutoff on 400/700lb brine tanks. Optional on 1000lb and larger sizes.
- High strength polyethylene tank liners for longer service life, FRP wrapped for strength and corrosion resistance. ANSI/NSF listed tanks.
- 120V/60Hz/1pH transformer included/ twist lock style electrical connections/ 24V control voltage.
- Optional: Brine reclaim.
